We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to engage in garment construction activities and provide the required technical knowledge ensuring sample development/ approval processes are in order, thereby sample products are cut and sewn to customer specified standards, whilst transferring relevant details from the development site to the production units. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Identify and analyze the best sewing method/s by referring the component library/route and prepare accurate operations breakdown (O/B) using the standard format and share details with the relevant parties (Industrial System & Engineering (ISE)/ Sample room teams), whilst making adjustments based on the feedback to suit manufacturing capability and release the finalized O/B to FIU/ Plants for executions * Assess the Garment Construction Kit and identify new Components whilst standardizing and maintaining such information in a library for future use.  * Identify the criticality of styles based on the style complexity grid/component newness and liaise with Technical Sewing Unit (TSU) unit at sample room /trail line with production engineering team to carry out Research & Development (R&D) construction /trail activities to reduce the styles complexity to Tier 1, Tier 2 level from high complexity Tier 4, Tier 3 level * Provide overall technical and garment embellishment support (construction solutions, durability conditions etc.) to the relevant stake holders [Sample room, Merchandiser, NIKE Certified Auditors (NCA), Embellishment and Industrial Systems and Engineering (ISE), Costing teams etc.], ensuring the correct technical input been given to meet the customer expectations and the quality of samples produced. * Provide the information relating to the pattern along with the 2D pattern to the Digital creator to create Virtual Samples based on customer requirements whilst analyzing the fit virtually (Spec changers, artwork changers, other editing etc.) * Establish all Fit related communication with the customer and relevant internal teams and complete the Fit process * Liaise with the Customer [NIKE Technical Development Team at NIKE PCC)] or relevant internal teams to provide relevant technical information relating to the product/process and engage in timely issue resolution * Review customer comments/feedback, that they are given for proto development and provide clear information for sample making and other development activities. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS * Degree in BSc Engineering / NDT or equivalent qualification  * Certificate in pattern making or relevant qualification  * 1-2 years practical experience in a relevant field/ experience in pattern making procedure * Strong Negotiation / Decision making and Leadership skills  * Good Communication (written & verbal) / Presentation and Analytical skills  * Systems knowledge (Gerber / StyleCAD / CAD /CAM / Computational Design) is a must
