GARNISHMENT CLERK Location: Marietta, GA 30067 JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Garnishment Clerk to join our team in Marietta, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing garnishment orders, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and maintaining accurate records. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Review and process garnishment orders received from courts, government agencies, and creditors. * Calculate garnishment amounts based on employee wages and applicable laws. * Communicate with employees, creditors, and legal entities regarding garnishment status and inquiries. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all garnishment cases. * Ensure timely remittance of garnished funds to appropriate parties. * Assist in resolving discrepancies or issues related to garnishments. * Stay informed about federal, state, and local garnishment laws and regulations. * Collaborate with payroll and HR departments to ensure proper deductions. QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred. * Previous experience in garnishment processing, payroll, or related field is a plus. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and payroll software. * Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. * Knowledge of garnishment laws and regulations preferred. WORK ENVIRONMENT This position is based in our Marietta, GA office. The role typically involves standard office hours with occasional deadlines requiring flexibility.   Screening Requirements: Criminal Background Check, fingerprinting and drug screening
