£42,800 TO £45,000K P/A

GAS BREAKDOWN ENGINEER REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3 years breakdown experience on domestic gas boilers;
  • Current gas qualifications with at least 6 months to expiry to include CCN1, CPA1, CKR1, HTR1, CENWAT;
  • Good knowledge of S & Y plan systems, and the ability to fault find and wire;
  • Experience with installing and maintaining Worcester Bosch and Vaillant boilers;
  • Auditing experience is desirable, but not essential.
  • Good knowledge of Gas safe regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Breakdowns & diagnostics on boiler and heating systems;
  • Exceptional fault finding on conventional heating systems and combination boilers
  • Long duration work to include gas pipe upgrades, flue replacements for example
  • Rewiring and testing of central heating to diagnose faults within the system
  • Annual servicing of domestic boilers;
  • GAS post auditing (training provided);
  • Reporting back to manager/office with faults found whilst on site;
  • Van stock list updates;
  • Exceptional customer service when working in the property, providing the customer with work required and carried out;
  • Daily contact with Scheduling to report any missed appointments or problems whilst at customers property or traveling.
