Wage: $54.55-$63.03 hourly base rate (+premiums) Location: Grande Prairie Shift: Monday to Friday Logistics: Tooled truck supplied Permanent Full time What's in it for you: - Competitive hourly wage - RSP and Pension - Comprehensive medical benefit program - Opportunity for skill development, certifications and continuing education Job Description: Job Functions: Troubleshoot, diagnose, overhaul and repair equipment related to Gas Compression & Energy Power Generation: natural gas & diesel engines, compressors, generators and attachments Maintain Finnings’ Customer Service Commitments, interact with customers, sales support, and the rest of the Finning team Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements Various related duties as required Qualifications: Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician Certification (Millwright and Automotive certifications will be considered) Demonstrated experience with all makes of Gas Compression equipment (G3500/G3600 A4 an asset) Completion or in the process of completing Finning S-Level courses Experience with commissioning is considered an asset A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator Gas Compression and Well Servicing experience is an asset Previous field service experience and experience with natural gas engines and compressors would be considered assets Non-Caterpillar experience such as Waukesha, Ariel, Cummins, etc is recognized as an asset *NOTE: Travel is required throughout Alberta and NWT Preference for candidate locations are Edmonton, Calgary, Red Deer and Grande Prairie This position will be primarily field based Training and experience in gas compression is an asset A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator Union Membership: You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position.
