We are looking for a Technical Manager – Commercial Gas to lead and oversee the management, maintenance, and compliance of gas systems across various facilities in Newcastle. This is an exciting opportunity for an expert to bring their technical knowledge and leadership abilities to ensure the optimal performance, safety, and efficiency of commercial gas operations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a Skilled Team: Manage and guide a team of commercial gas engineers, ensuring best practices in equipment installation, maintenance, and compliance.
  • Oversee System Efficiency: Ensure all commercial gas systems, including boilers, heating systems, and associated infrastructure, are regularly maintained, tested, and operating efficiently.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure full compliance with gas safety regulations, health and safety standards, and relevant environmental legislation.
  • Project Management: Oversee installations, system upgrades, and refurbishments, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to industry standards.
  • Energy Efficiency: Implement strategies to improve energy efficiency, reduce operational costs, and enhance overall system performance.
  • Troubleshoot & Resolve Issues: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to commercial gas systems, providing hands-on support when necessary.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations and service delivery.
