Description Gas & Diesel Mechanic The Mechanic is responsible for repairing and maintaining vehicle’s and equipment. Inspect and test equipment and vehicles. Follow all Accord, manufacturer’s and DOE requirements for safety. Type of Machinery: Vehicle Lift, Forklift, Mobile Crane, Welder, Cutting Torches, Shop Tools Training Required to Perform Duties: CPR/1st Aid, Welding, Fire Watch, Vehicle Lift, Forklift, Aerial Lift, HazMat, Mobile Crane Inspector, HazWoper, Federal Motor Carrier Highway Safety Regulations/Inspector, Federal Motor Carrier Highway Safety Regulations/Brake Inspector and any requirements from Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) and 49 CFR. Requirements · Required: US nationality/citizenship and residence, with verbal and written fluency in English. · Required: Be cleared to work in the USA via an eVerify check. · Required: Clean background check dating back 7 years. · Required: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and must participate in the company random drug test program.
