Location: St Ives Bay Beach Resort, Hayle, TR27 5BH
Hours of work: Permanent Contract – 40 hours per week
Salary: Dependant on Experience

WHAT WE NEED IN A NUTSHELL

We are looking for a qualified gas maintenance engineer to join our fantastic gas engineer’s maintenance team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will work as part of a team to ensure everything is in good working order while making sure that all our holiday homes are safely connected and certified.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES YOU’LL NEED

  • Gas Safe qualified, holding all current gas safe qualifications including: CCLP1LAV core, CCLP1RPH core, CENWAT1, CKR1, CPA1, MET1 & CCLP1PD.
  • Experience of completing gas work within holiday homes would be desirable.
  • Have a strong understanding of health & safety legislation

Responsibilities
  • Manage gas testing and ensure new appliances are installed safely in holiday homes
  • Managing the upkeep and servicing of boilers
  • Connect, commission & test new holiday homes
  • Manage the schedule of safety tests, so that they are always up to date
  • Keep clear and accurate records of checks, audits and renewals
  • Keep up to date with all legislation and regulations in relation to gas works
    One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times, so you will need to be prepared to work your magic on bank holidays, evenings and weekends.
