The role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Gas Engineer, to assist with our delivery of MOD / Defence Projects predominately at RAF Honington and other locations as and when required.
The main roles and responsibilities of the Gas Engineer will include but is not limited to:
To undertake repair, maintenance and installation of gas, plumbing and heating systems, ideally must be familiar with oil and medium and high-pressure systems and all other associated elements in an efficient, safe manner and in accordance with company Health and Safety policy, Safe Systems of Work and current regulations. You will have an analytical approach to work, the ability to work both individually and collaboratively, and have an organised, calm, and adaptable nature to be able to deal with a variety of situations or tasks whilst under pressure.
You will need:
The ideal candidate will have valid ACS qualifications suitable for a Gas Engineer, a full driving licence and relevant industry training.
Solid understanding of H&S and safe working practices.
