JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in various fitting techniques. This role involves working with metal components and requires the ability to read technical drawings, as well as a solid understanding of welding processes. The Fitter will play a crucial role in ensuring that all assemblies meet quality standards and are completed in a timely manner.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Fitter or in a similar role within the manufacturing or engineering sector is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems and components.
  • Familiarity with welding techniques, including stick welding, is essential.
  • Experience using hand tools and machinery safely and effectively.
  • Ability to plumb components accurately for optimal assembly.
  • A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and techniques in fitting.
  • NVQ Level 3, CSCS Card, IPAF Accreditation and clean UK Drivers Licence.
