We are seeking a Gas Technician to join our team. As a Gas Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining gas appliances and systems. Your mechanical knowledge and expertise will be essential in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of gas equipment. If you have experience in plumbing, building, welding, or appliance repair, and possess strong problem-solving skills, we encourage you to apply.
Duties:
- Install, inspect, repair, and maintain gas appliances and systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of gas equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with gas appliances and systems
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines when working with gas equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Experience in plumbing, building, welding, or appliance repair is preferred
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and schematics is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Licenses:
- Gas Technician certification is required (G2 minimum)
- Driving license
- 313D or 313A certification
