If you see sustainability and circular economy as a way forward and want to contribute to MOL’s transformational journey then this is just for you: We are looking for our new Gas & Power Short Term Trading & Portfolio Expert who will manage gas and power (including renewable energy) supply–demand positions for MOL DS LLC by executing physical and third-party transactions, focusing on logistics and short-term trading while coordinating with assets and risk management; who will support retail activities, ensure compliance with group regulations (including credit and market risk), and optimize costs and margins with short-term hedging (under one-month tenor); and who will contribute to the MOL Group 2030+ Strategy while supporting financial settlements and account closing to meet contractual obligations. In this role you will: Manage the MOL Group energy supply and sales portfolio (including renewables), focusing on scheduling, nominations, optimization of sourcing and sales, securing transmission and storage capacities, monitoring balancing markets, optimizing cross-border flows, and capturing prompt market opportunities Manage and support operational procurement of natural gas and renewable gases and limited trading-license activities (storage services and wholesale, excluding end-user supply) for MOL Downstream Support development of the Group’s energy balancing, dispatching, forecasting, and scheduling systems, and provide forecasts for energy supply–demand balance to support physical and financial trading Coordinate energy dispatch services at MOL DS LLC, including daily and intra-day scheduling, nominations, portfolio optimization, physical energy inventory management, and execution of short-term balancing deals in relevant IT systems Cooperate with traders, sales experts, originators, and trading operators to manage scheduling, logistics, system usage fees, and portfolio-related costs before and after deal execution Coordinate operational execution of energy supply and trading deals representing the Group’s interests and maintain contact for monthly physical and support financial settlements with internal and external customers Manage master data of energy logistics, invoicing, and settlement IT systems, propose system improvements, and develop routine or ad-hoc reports and presentations supporting business decisions on short-term portfolios, third-party deals, and energy projects Monitor short-term energy market fundamentals, collect data, produce analytical reports, and support strategic projects including forecasting weather-dependent energy production and consumption and implementing sustainable energy strategies Take and manage short-term market positions (tenor
