DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Class ‘B’ or equivalent Gas Fitter license is an asset but not required. We are willing to train the right individual(s)
  • Experience working with gas lines and commercial gas appliances an asset
  • Experience installing piping systems (water, gas, steam) in commercial facilities is an asset.
  • Experience working in industrial settings is an asset.
  • Basic ability to read and follow drawings, piping diagrams. Electrical knowledge is an asset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities
  • Help install, maintain, and repair natural gas and propane systems, including gas-fired equipment. Typically working together with Class ‘A’ gas fitter.
  • Provide thorough technical documentation of work completed during services.
  • Cooperate with engineering & project management in execution of project work.
  • Prepare for projects by doing risk assessments and taking stock of tools, materials and equipment.
  • Help build and modify piping systems (threaded, pressed), assemble welded/flanged piping systems.
