Description
Act as a technical authority to evaluate the feasibility of gas to power solutions. Evaluate the technical risk of gas to power technologies and propose solutions to reduce the risk. Provide advice related to power plant specifics: base load, balance of the plant and dynamic operations. Interact with external stakeholders: clients, IPPs, data centers, utilities and suppliers as a technical authority related to gas to power matters. Work with different parties to provide inputs and cost estimates during the Tender Risk workshop and Project Schedule review sessions. (Cost Optimization and definition of key dates) Provide the engineering team with inputs and hints on selection criteria for constructability, reliability, availability, operability and maintainability of the Gas to Power solutions. Support the Supply chain team on vendors, contractors and sub-contractors' qualification criteria related to gas to power, gas turbines etc. Provide technical support to the execution and O&M teams as required as well as participate in cost​ Optimization and value engineering sessions. Provide inputs during peer review sessions through all phases of the projects from concept to commissioning and delivery. Work collectively with the team to achieve the project objectives and improve the key performance indicators. Write documentation, review and approve procedures related to gas to power solutions in coordination with other SMEs, partners and suppliers. Perform audits, knowledge sharing sessions and lesson learned. Train other team members on different aspects of the gas to power solutions. Bachelor's degree in engineering - further education is preferred. Minimum 15 to 20 years of progressive experience in Gas to Power plant design and delivery and operation, including base load, balance of the plant and dynamic operations. Previous experience representing companies in front of the customers, suppliers, utilities and government agencies as the technical authority for gas to Power. Plants. Experience all phases of design, construction and commissioning gas to power plants. Deep Knowledge and expertise in gas turbine selection, implementation and operation and optimization techniques for the gas to power plants. Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work in a cross-functional team and thrive for the success of the projects. Candidates must be able to work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
