Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Gastroenterologist (MD or DO) who is Board Certified or Board Eligible. Location: Hilo, HI Position Responsibilities • Perform diagnostic procedures such as endoscopies, colonoscopies, andliver biopsies to evaluate and treat gastrointestinal conditions. • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including history-taking, physicalexaminations, and diagnostic evaluations. • Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions. • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patientneeds, preferences, and medical history. • Collaborate closely with healthcare team to ensure coordinated andcomprehensive patient care. • Document patient encounters, treatment plans, and follow-up recommendations accurately and timely in the electronic health record system. Minimum Qualifications • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school. • Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Gastroenterology. • Valid medical license to practice in Hawaii (or eligibility for licensure). • At least 3 years of experience as a gastroenterologist after completing gastroenterology fellowship program.
