Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Gastroenterologist (MD or DO) who is Board Certified or Board Eligible. The ideal candidate will bring clinical expertise, a patient-centered approach, and a commitment to excellence in digestive health care. Location: Hilo, HI Position Responsibilities • Perform diagnostic procedures such as endoscopies, colonoscopies, andliver biopsies to evaluate and treat gastrointestinal conditions. • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including history-taking, physicalexaminations, and diagnostic evaluations. • Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions. • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patientneeds, preferences, and medical history. • Collaborate closely with healthcare team to ensure coordinated andcomprehensive patient care. • Document patient encounters, treatment plans, and follow-up recommendations accurately and timely in the electronic health record system. Minimum Qualifications • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school. • Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Gastroenterology. • Valid medical license to practice in Hawaii (or eligibility for licensure). • At least 3 years of experience as a gastroenterologist after completing gastroenterology fellowship program.

Responsibilities

The Gastroenterologist will perform diagnostic procedures and conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate and treat gastrointestinal conditions. They will develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated patient care.
