JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Gastroenterologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal disorders, with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This role requires expertise in various procedures and an understanding of the latest advancements in gastroenterology. The Gastroenterologist will work collaboratively with other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Gastroenterology is preferred.
• Proficiency in medical coding related to gastroenterology practices.
• Knowledge of psychopharmacology as it relates to gastrointestinal health is a plus.
• Ability to assess vital signs accurately and respond appropriately.
• Experience operating diagnostic equipment relevant to gastroenterology.
• Familiarity with hospice palliative medicine principles is advantageous.
• Additional experience or knowledge in podiatry or medical-surgical practices can be beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

  Pay: $270,000.00 - $320,000.00 per year

Work Location: In perso

• Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients with gastrointestinal issues.
• Diagnose conditions related to the digestive system, including but not limited to, esophageal disorders, liver diseases, and inflammatory bowel diseases.
• Perform endoscopic procedures and other diagnostic tests as necessary.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, dietitians, and other specialists to provide holistic care.
• Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as Epic.
• Adhere to aseptic techniques during procedures to ensure patient safety.
