Position Overview: The Gastroenterology NP will be responsible for evaluating and managing patients by performing detailed histories and physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and formulating individualized treatment plans. This includes diagnosing and treating conditions such as abdominal pain, dyspepsia, nausea, dysphagia, constipation, diarrhea, GI bleeding, elevated liver enzymes, and other GI-related issues.

Responsibilities

The Gastroenterology NP is responsible for evaluating and managing patients through detailed histories, physical exams, and the formulation of individualized treatment plans. Key duties include diagnosing GI disorders, prescribing medications, and coordinating multidisciplinary care during hospital rounds.
