Doctors Direct have an exciting opportunity for a Registrar to work with us in Gastroenterology at the Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust.
We are looking for a Registrar dedicated to, and passionate about, improving health and wellbeing of patients in the Harlow Community.
The Gastroenterology Registrar is responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients with gastrointestinal conditions. This includes performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, managing inpatient and outpatient cases, and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings. The registrar will also be involved in teaching junior medical staff and medical students.

Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with gastrointestinal symptoms.
  • Develop and implement management plans for inpatient and outpatient care.
  • Perform regular ward rounds and outpatient clinics.
  • Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests such as endoscopies, colonoscopies, and biopsies.

  • Location: Harlow
  • Days per week: shifts available every day of the week, Monday-Sunday
  • Shift pattern: various ad hoc shifts - full time/part time
  • Hours per week: 20-50 hours available
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Rate of pay: £62.50 to £73.90 per hour including Holiday pay
  • Payment method: PAYE we do NOT facilitate payment through LTD/umbrella companies
