Overview Carolina Poly, Inc. in Chester, SC, is currently seeking Gate Attendants to join our team. Carolina Poly produces several lines of polyethylene products including high-quality trash bags and construction films. Carolina Poly is a new facility that is part of an established nationwide manufacturing company that can provide growth and advancement opportunities. Gate Attendants work a yearly set schedule of 4 days on and 4 days off with 12 hour shifts. The days of the week worked will rotate from week to week. Candidates must be available to work each day of the week. Responsibilities Responsibilities Patrol grounds both on foot and in a vehicle. Patrol inside the office and factory floor. Ensure access points are locked at specified times. Contact police or fire departments in event of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons. Provide coverage for other grounds attendants as needed. Complete daily report. Communicate with your relief to ensure smooth shift transition. Assist in the gatehouse as needed. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess: Excellent communications skills, bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. At least six months' experience in a security role preferred. The ability to work a night shift or a day shift as assigned by management. The aptitude and desire necessary to be a good student of Carolina Poly procedures. Individual must be able to operate a motor vehicle on the property Individual should possess excellent communication skills. Responsibilities

Responsibilities include patrolling the grounds, office, and factory floor, ensuring all access points are locked, and contacting emergency services when necessary. The attendant must also complete daily reports and assist in the gatehouse while ensuring smooth shift transitions.
