Overview Poly-America, L.P. is currently hiring Front Gate Attendants to join our team. Poly-America produces several lines of polyethylene products including high quality trash bags, construction and agricultural films. Gate Attendants work a yearly set schedule of 4 days on and 4 days off with 12 hour shifts. The days of the week worked will rotate from week to week. Candidates must be available to work each day of the week Responsibilities Gate Attendants responsibilities at Poly-America include, but are not limited to: Monitor employee access to the facility. Scale shipments and deliveries and release through software based system. Register all visitors properly and ensure they are sent to proper departments. Communicate with various department to announce visitors, issues, or emergencies. The role will involve additional responsibilities and opportunities as they become necessary and/or are assigned by management. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess: Excellent communications skills, bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. A current US Driver's license (CDL not required). The ability to work a night shift or a day shift as assigned by management. The aptitude and desire necessary to be a good student of Poly-America procedures.
