Work Schedule Comments: Monday – Friday, 6am to 6pm. 1 Saturday out of the month for inventory. Position Overview: To process inbound and outbound inspections Important Job Functions: * Inspects equipment and notes any damages * Process interchange receipts * Inputs data into the Depot computer system * Identifies all equipment numbers * Identifies all equipment sizes * Inventory Control Other Job Functions: * Helps on the yard as needed * Other duties as assigned Requirements: * Ability to work outside for extended periods of time * Be able to work flexible shifts Other Skills/Abilities: * Data entry skills * Ability to type 35 WPM * Customer Service skills

Responsibilities

The Gate Inspector is responsible for processing inbound and outbound equipment inspections and recording damages. They are also tasked with managing interchange receipts and inputting data into the depot computer system.
