NSSL is currently looking for qualified gatehouse attendants, who are interested in part time and full time shifts.

National Shunt Service Ltd. operates across North America and we specialize in yard management (shunting).

• Gatehouse attendants
• 24 X 7 operation

GATEHOUSE POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Ensure the safety and security of onsite personnel
• Conduct routine site inspections and yard checks
• Communicate with our drivers as well as the employees of our clients to ensure the safety of everyone on site.
• Data entry of inbound and outbound carriers into two systems
• Monitor incoming and outgoing drivers
• Communicate with drivers regarding yard layout
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with computer software and programs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Customer service skills
• Believe that “the safe way is the right way”
• Effectively work under pressure
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Willing to work hard
