As a Gatehouse Security Officer, you are the first line of defence and the first impression of the site. From controlling access points and verifying credentials to conducting patrols and managing vehicle and personnel searches, you’ll combine vigilance with professionalism in every interaction. Job Description Responsibilities You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes: Provide an effective security presence and proactive response service. Respond and deal with all site risk events in a timely manner. Carry out fire prevention duties, fire alarm and sprinkler activation. Perform gate duties, ensuring no unauthorised persons or vehicles enter the site, inspect site pass credentials, pass key issue, vehicle and personal searches. Ensure that activities are correctly recorded, reported and documented as high quality reports (verbal and/or written). Undertake any other duties as determined the management team.
