Position: GCP Cloud Platform Engineer (Hadoop Platform Expert with GCP Infra Environment Experience)
Location: Toronto Downtown
Work Model: 4 days a week

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:
· Minimum 5 years’ experience in designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud solutions using GCP services like Dataproc, Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery.
· Utilizing tools like Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager to automate the deployment and management of cloud resources.
· Must have Hadoop Platform , GCP Clusters , GCP Infrastructure Experience.
· Developing and maintaining automation pipelines for building, deploying, and managing applications and infrastructure.
· Utilizing tools like Stackdriver and Cloud Monitoring to monitor cloud infrastructure performance and identify areas for improvement.
· Diagnosing and resolving issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
· Ability to automate tasks using scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
· Experience with Linux system administration tasks & understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and cloud security principles.
· Working with cross-functional teams, including developers, security, and operations teams, to define cloud architecture best practices and ensure compliance.
· Keeping abreast of the latest GCP technologies, best practices, and security recommendations.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $46.12-$65.00 per hour
