We are seeking a skilled and proactive GCP DevOps Engineer to join our cloud transformation initiative. This role involves the modernization of existing on-premises applications through a refactoring-based migration strategy. The ideal candidate will help re-architect systems to fully leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, focusing on containerization, automation, and operational scalability.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Experience working with C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, Entity Framework, React, Angular, RESTful APIs, and JSON data formats.
• Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and ETL development practices.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, GKE, and IAM.
• Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency with Docker and other containerization technologies
• Application refactoring expertise for GCP-native architecture

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Deployment Manager)
• Familiarity with GitOps workflows
• Understanding of security best practices in a cloud environment
• Agile or DevOps team experience

• Refactor legacy applications to utilize managed services and containerized environments (e.g., Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions).
• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate code deployment and testing processes.
• Design and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) and enable streamlined application deployment workflows.
• Leverage GCP services such as Cloud SQL, IAM, Cloud Run, and GKE for deploying scalable and maintainable applications.
• Work closely with development teams to support integration of frontend (.NET, Angular, React) and backend (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, ETL) components in the cloud.
• Ensure proper monitoring, logging, and alerting is in place for all cloud services.
• Participate in technical planning, documentation, problem-solving, and post-deployment analysis.
