The Role
Prodapt is seeking a Druid support Engineer who has strong experience with Druid. Platform support engineering

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain Druid clusters on onprem.
• Monitor the health and performance of Druid clusters, identify and troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve performance and availability.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop and optimize Druid queries and data pipelines.
• Work with other members of the engineering team to ensure that Druid clusters integrate seamlessly with other data systems, such as Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, and Google BigQuery.

• Develop and maintain automated testing and deployment pipelines for Druid clusters.

    Requirements:

PRIMARY SKILLS:

Apache Druid, Google Cloud Platform, Linux, Apache Airflow, Google Compute Engine, GitLab, BigQuery.

SECONDARY SKILLS:

Python, Pyspark, PL/SQL, Shell Script

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 8 + years experience in the IT industry
• Must hands on experience in Apache Druid
• ArgoCD
• Ansible
