We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our cloud infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring the seamless deployment of applications. EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:

• Proficiency in cloud computing technologies (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure).
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and virtualization (VMware).
• Strong knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab) and version control systems (Git, SVN).
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or DynamoDB.
• Understanding of web servers (NGINX, Tomcat) and application servers (WebLogic, JBoss).
• Proficient in programming/scripting languages including JavaScript, Python, Ruby on Rails, Groovy, or Go.
• Knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP protocols, firewalls, and identity & access management.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

• Collaborate with development teams to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software deployment.
• Manage cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
• Utilize containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes to enhance application scalability.
• Implement configuration management using tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet to automate system administration tasks.
• Monitor application performance and system health using tools like New Relic or Splunk, and conduct log analysis for troubleshooting.
• Ensure security best practices are followed across the IT infrastructure, including cloud security measures.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and incident management processes to ensure business continuity.
• Write scripts for automation using languages such as Python, Bash (Unix shell), or PowerShell.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
