ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION (BEP ACADEMY)
BEP Group first started offering Alternative Education in 1999 and, in the years since, over 3,500 young people have been supported.
BEP Academy became an independent school in 2017 and was judged by Ofsted to be ‘Good’ in November 2018 and again in February 2023. The school meets all the Independent School Standards, as prescribed by Ofsted and the DfE.
The school (BEP Academy) has two sites, one in Romford (60 students) and the other in Basildon (30 students). We offer GCSEs, entry level and vocational qualifications for children to attend full-time.

Located at our Romford site, you will be teaching GCSE Maths and/or Science to young people aged 13-16. You will be working alongside the SENDCo, Teaching and Learning Manager and a group of GCSE, Entry Level and Practical Skills Tutors.
Students are referred to our alternative education programme and are often challenging (academically and/or behaviourally). You will take an active role in helping to equip students with the skills they will require to progress on to further education, an apprenticeship and work.
