Our 3 operating businesses (The Plex Athletic Club, Sports, and The Penalty Box Bar and Grill) offers 240,000 square feet of entertainment space under one roof where you will find everything you need for fun, fitness, family activities, food & beverage, parties, and social events. Open 7-days a week, our facility offers an arcade of games, bocce ball, bouncy houses, wall climbing, cornhole, darts, pizza, sushi, tapas, a vast beer wall and so much more. Job Summary: The Certified Pilates Reformer Instructor will lead dynamic, safe, and effective reformer-based classes for our members. The instructor creates an engaging and supportive environment, helping participants improve strength, flexibility, and overall well-being. This role requires a deep understanding of Pilates principles, proper technique, and modifications to accommodate all fitness levels. Duties/Responsibilities: Lead safe, structured, and effective Pilates Reformer classes in accordance with industry standards and club guidelines. Educate members on proper form, breathing techniques, and muscle engagement for maximum benefit and injury prevention. Personalize the workout by providing modifications and progressions for different fitness levels and abilities. Arrive at least 10 minutes early to set up equipment and stay after class to interact with members. Build strong relationships to enhance member retention and encourage participation in other club programs. Ensure all Pilates equipment is properly used, sanitized, and stored after each session. Maintain knowledge of Pilates principles, anatomy, and current fitness trends. Create a welcoming and motivating atmosphere, using positive reinforcement and personalized coaching. Promote other club services, events, and membership opportunities. Follow all club policies and safety protocols to provide a professional and high-quality experience. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Fitness Manager. Required Skills/Abilities: Strong understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and injury prevention. Excellent teaching, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage members of all fitness levels. Familiarity with Pilates Reformer equipment and maintenance procedures. Education and Experience: Certification: Pilates Reformer Certification from a recognized organization (e.g., STOTT, Balanced Body, Peak Pilates, BASI, etc.). Experience: Minimum one to two years of teaching Pilates Reformer classes. CPR/AED Certification (preferred or required based on club policies). Working knowledge of fitness industry software IE, Club Automation, GroupX Pro and any fitness club app. Physical Requirements: Must be physically fit to lead the class at the appropriate level. Must be able to squat, bend, reach, jump, and spot. May work outdoors and be exposed to sun for prolonged periods. May lift up to 10 pounds Qualifications
