MINIMUM 1+ YEARS TEACHING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

A full-time, onsite Elementary Bilingual (Spanish) ESL Teacher opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving 3rd to 5th grade students. This position provides the chance to apply bilingual skills and ESL expertise in a dynamic elementary school setting, supporting students language development and academic growth.
Location: Forest Park, Illinois
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM (35 hours/week)
Duration: August 19, 2025 June 5, 2026

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality instruction to English Language Learners (ELLs) in grades 3-5, integrating bilingual (Spanish) support with general education curriculum
  • Develop lesson plans tailored to the diverse needs of ESL students to enhance language acquisition and academic progress
  • Collaborate with general education staff to create an inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and success
  • Monitor student progress through assessments and adjust strategies to meet individual learning goals
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues to support student development and parent involvement

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with an English as a Second Language (ESL) endorsement required
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish essential for effective classroom communication and instruction
  • Experience teaching elementary students, especially within bilingual or ESL programs, preferred
  • Strong commitment to culturally responsive teaching and support for language learners
