Location: Ideally Brisbane, but flexible across Australia | Full-time |2 year fixed term contract

Must have valid work rights in Australia

• Join one of Australia’s most critical humanitarian programs and help ensure that emergency relief reaches those who need it most — in ways that are inclusive, equitable, and effective.

• Lead the development and implementation of the HLC GEDSI Strategy and annual GEDSI Plan
• Conduct GEDSI analysis of supply chains and country contexts to inform inclusive programming
• Train staff in GEDSI principles and practices
• Review and improve the appropriateness of pre-positioned supplies
• Provide GEDSI advice during preparedness and response operations
• Collaborate with DFAT, humanitarian partners, and rights-holder organisations
• Support MERL initiatives to strengthen GEDSI outcomes and last-mile visibility
• Manage GEDSI components of service orders and logistics operations
• Engage external GEDSI specialists and lead cross-functional teams
• Establish partnerships with Women’s Rights Groups and Organisations of People with Disabilities.
