The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant with at least 2 years’ hands-on experience to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our business. You’ll be working across a broad range of accounting tasks, helping us maintain accurate records, improve processes, and support growth in a fast-moving industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including supplier and customer accounts
• Reconcile daily transactions, bank statements, and cash handling
• Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end processes
• Oversee payroll and ensure compliance with superannuation, tax
• Support budgeting, cost control, and forecasting activities
• Liaise with management, suppliers, and external accountants/auditors
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiency

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an accounting role (preferably within automotive, manufacturing, or trade-related industries)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, MYOB, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong problem-solving ability
• Ability to work independently while being a reliable part of a team
