The property is also positioned as a leading venue for luxury destination weddings in the region. Location: Shimla, North India ABOUT THE ROLE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper bookkeeping for all hotel transactions. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections. Assist in payroll processing and related statutory compliance. Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and other financial documents regularly. Support budget preparation, cost analysis, and financial forecasting activities. Ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards, tax regulations, and hotel policies. Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations. Collaborate with department heads to monitor financial performance and control costs. Maintain confidentiality of financial information and handle sensitive data responsibly. EXPERIENCE & SKILLS 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and reconciliations. Experience working with accounting software, PMS, and POS systems is an advantage. Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, and general ledger management. Basic understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with operational teams in a fast-paced hotel environment. Experience in hotel pre-opening projects is an advantage.
