GENERAL ACCOUNTANT

A leading multinational company is looking for an experienced General Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years’ experience in accounting and finance functions.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years accounting experience
• Cantonese or Mandarin considered an asset
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated and self-directed
• Strong attention to detail

• Handle full cycle Account Payable
• Perform weekly / monthly bank reconciliations
• Maintain general ledgers and bookkeeping
• Prepare Government Remittances, including GST /HST returns, Source Deductions and WSIB Reports
• Record financial transactions accurately and reconcile internal loan transfers
• Prepare monthly Financial Reports and variance analysis
• Assist controller preparing audit documentation and support audit procedures
• Other responsibilities as required by management.
