Minimum Qualifications •Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics •Minimum Years of Experience: None •Substitutable Education & Experience: Candidates actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics will be considered and must obtain eligible Bachelor's Degree within one year of hire into position. •Required Certifications/Licensure: None •Required Training: Experience and knowledge of computerized accounting systems Essential Functions Prepare all journal entries necessary to record the transactions of the Facilities. Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements of the Facilities. Reconcile all accounts receivable detail records to the general ledger control accounts monthly for all the Facilities. Prepare and record all allowances to revenue for the Facilities. Analyze allowance percentages and adjust as circumstances dictate. Record all intracompany allocations between the Facilities and other units of the Organization. Act as a financial adviser to operating management of Facilities. Research questions on financial data and provide answers required for effective monthly financial analysis. Duties & Responsibilities Assist operating management of the Facilities in preparation of the annual operating budget. As developments occur or significant concerns arise, advise and update supervisor and other personnel as appropriate. Maintain an optimistic and professional image and exhibit excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers. Show courtesy, compassion, and respect. Conform to service excellence policy and "House Rules." Perform other duties as may be assigned by authorized personnel, or as required in an emergency (i.e., fire or disaster).
