Job Description The General Accountant is part of a team which administers the efficient and effective operation of all financial aspects of the Hotel development, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities and records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and the efficient operation of the hotel's financial department and collaborating with various departments to achieve financial goals. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Process invoices, payments, and expenses in a timely and accurate manner. Manage cash flow by monitoring daily cash balances and reconciling bank statements. Prepare cash forecasts to ensure adequate funds for daily operations. Coordinate and assist in internal and external audits Liaise with suppliers and vendors regarding payment and invoice inquiries. Qualifications Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Accounting Proven experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the hospitality industry. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of hotel accounting systems (e.g., Opera) is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
