Shift: 8am-5pm
Work Location: Scarborough (Finch Ave East and Markham Rd area)
Pay: $33-$34/hour based on experience

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Ensure month end close for Balance Sheet
• Profit and Loss Statement is completed
• Reconciling items are identified and are addressed timely
• Own cut-off procedures and review to ensure revenue and accruals are appropriately and timely recorded.
• Work with the Shared Service Center in Hungary for A/R, A/P, Fixed Assets and several Accruals.
• Assist with Supplemental information Templates. Monthly Reports.
• Periodic Information Requests.
• Canada Sales, Cost and Margin Review
• Review Sales reports and margin performance
• Identify Sales transactions with missing costs
• Review GL Variances - Material Usage to reclassify to COS
• Review Backlog information, aged items, exposure on margin
• Canada Inventory Control
• Review, track, validate and report Cycle Count

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2 years experience of cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
• General knowledge of accounting policies
• Cost Accounting experience in Industrial manufacturing operation
• Systems knowledge: Oracle, BPC, SAP
• Good English communications skills (verbal and written)
• Proficiency in Excel other MS Office
