ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client, located in the GTA, is looking for a General Accountant. The General Accountant plays a key role in reconciling accounts, assisting in financial reporting, maintaining the general ledger and working closely with prepaids and accruals.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Pursuing a CPA Designation
• Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle accounting experience
• Strong Excel
• Attention to detail, organized and communicative

• Support the month-end and year-end close process
• Prepare journal entries, bank reconciliations and accruals
• Prepare GST/HST and other government remittances
• Prepare intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements
