About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled General Accountant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports
✔ Conduct reconciliations and manage general ledger accounts
✔ Assist with tax returns, BAS, and compliance reporting
✔ Analyze financial data to support business strategies
✔ Liaise with auditors, regulatory bodies, and internal teams
✔ Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies
Skills & Experience Required:
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
✅ Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
✅ Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero)
✅ Strong knowledge of Australian tax regulations and financial reporting
✅ Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
✅ Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
