Responsibilities

As our General Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of our business. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing daily income and reconciling cash and credit card payments.
  • Managing group and airline invoices, processing payments, and resolving chargeback issues.
  • Handling guest and client billing inquiries with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Assisting with tax preparations and processing city ledger payment postings.
  • Performing account reconciliations, follow-up billing, and credit collection while monitoring and reporting on uncollectible accounts.
  • Supporting accounts payable (AP) duties, including invoice verification and payment processing.
  • Assisting with month-end inventory and financial reporting.
  • Collaborating with other departments on equipment or product purchases and financial tracking.
  • Ensuring compliance with provincial and federal health and safety requirements related to financial operations.
  • Handling additional accounting-related tasks as needed.
