Description
As the Senior Accounting Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the company's financial operations. By leading the accounting team and overseeing financial reporting, inventory accounting, and regulatory compliance, you will provide reliable financial insights that support strategic decision-making and contribute to the organization's financial stability and operational excellence. Lead and oversee all accounting and inventory accounting operations to ensure accuracy and compliance. Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team while effectively allocating responsibilities. Review and approve accounting entries, financial records, and supporting documentation. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliations. Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes. Ensure accurate recording of revenues, expenses, assets, and liabilities. Prepare timely financial and management reports for senior leadership. Collaborate in budgeting processes and monitor budget variances. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, insurance requirements, and statutory reporting obligations. Prepare and submit tax returns, VAT reports, and other regulatory filings. Coordinate with internal and external auditors and address audit inquiries. Evaluate financial systems and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and internal controls. Maintain proper financial documentation and record management. Oversee inventory controls and ensure alignment between physical inventory and system records. Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 6–10 years of accounting experience, including several years in a supervisory or team leadership role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical and reporting skills. Good command of the English language. Strong leadership, people management, and decision-making abilities. Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure. Experience with ERP and accounting software is considered an advantage.
