The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious General Agency Benefit Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is a remote position. Responsibilities: Coordinate with carriers to obtain, review, and compare quotes for ancillary and voluntary benefit lines. Prepare and submit marketing requests across dental, vision, life, disability, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and other supplemental coverages. Maintain strong relationships with carrier reps to ensure timely responses, competitive proposals, and accurate plan data. Serve as a primary point of contact for brokers during the marketing and proposal process. Present marketing results and coverage comparisons to brokers in a clear, concise format. Work collaboratively with brokers to understand client needs, plan objectives, and required specifications. Analyze carrier proposals, rates, and benefit structures to identify trends, discrepancies, or negotiation opportunities. Build side-by-side comparisons to support broker decision-making. Maintain internal tracking of marketing activity, carrier performance, quote turnaround times, and placement results. Ensure documentation, proposals, and communications meet NEP’s quality standards and service expectations. Support handoff to enrollment, technology, or account management teams where needed. Participate in internal projects related to improving GA marketing workflows and efficiency. Qualifications: Highschool or college degree Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Upbeat attitude and strong written, verbal, and organizational skills. Excellent time management and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
