Summary
We are seeking a passionate General assistant / Barista to join our dynamic team at The Genuine Dining Co. Located in the heart of London, this role is essential in delivering exceptional coffee experiences to our customers while contributing to a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full area of responsibility is clean, appropriately presented and always stocked.
• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages to customers.
• Ensure thorough and up to date knowledge and understanding of menu and special offers in order to provide relevant information to customers and clients.
• Engage with customers to provide excellent service and build relationships.
• Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods and equipment.
• Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume service efficiently.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• A passion for food safety and quality service.
