The role is simple…to prepare the finest food and drinks to wow every customer.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Cooking and preparing meals
• Running the operations of the café through effective planning, communication and organising
• To lead and motivate the kitchen team to deliver outstanding quality food
• Be capable of dealing with challenging situations promptly and with professionalism
• To ensure the café is always presented in a way that reflects high standards
• Lead by example and be a role model in service, standards and knowledge
• Look for continual improvement in standards, and generate new ideas
• Train staff
• Stock taking
• Implementing risk assessments and cleaning procedures
• Key holder for the business

You must have:

• Previous experience of a least 1 year working in a similar chef role
• Passion for Food and Beverage service
• Hands on approach with an excitement for delivering great food
• Good organisational skills with great attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
• Excellent presentation skills
• Up to date food hygiene certificate
• Strong work ethic and desire to progress
• Creativity-to drive the business forward

You will be required to work 20-40 hours per week. part time hours will be considered. Flexibility is a must!
