OVERVIEW

Mellington Hall Country House Hotel is a family owned picturesque venue close to Montgomery and churchstoke, we have 11 luxurious letting rooms along with restaurant and bar facilities for the general public, serving food and drinks to a high standard.
opening times - Wednesday to Sunday (closed Sunday pm to Wed am)
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Assistant to join our small but dedicated team. This role is essential in supporting various functions within the hotel, ensuring smooth operations and excellent service delivery, cover a multitude of functions within the all departments of the hotel.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in hospitality an advantage but not essential.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Williness to complete all tasks to a high standard taking pride in your work.
    The ideal candiate should be reliable and have a strong willing attitude towards achiving there best, extra shifts available sometimes at short notice.
    Experience and advantage but training will be provided to the succseful candidate, additonal hours available during busy periods hourly rate £!2-50 age dependant

Responsibilities
  • Assisting with daily cleaning of both public areas and residents rooms, changing bedding, hoovering, dusting to a high standard.
  • Front of House - Assisting with a variety of duties from taking orders, meal and drinks service in a concise and proffesional manner.
  • Bar Service - Cellar expereince an advantage (training provided)
  • Clear tables, clean and relay in a timely manner.
  • Manage time effectively to prioritise tasks to maximise customer satisfaction.
