JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive General Assistant to join our dynamic team for two days per week. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask effectively. This role is essential for supporting daily operations and ensuring a high standard of service is maintained.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with customers and colleagues.
  • Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
  • Proven time management abilities to effectively juggle multiple responsibilities.
  • Experience in merchandising is an advantage but not mandatory.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily operational tasks, this includes food preparation and baking.
  • Engage with customers, providing excellent service and addressing inquiries promptly.
  • Support retail efforts by maintaining product displays and inventory levels.
  • Utilise effective communication skills to liaise with team members and management.
  • Receiving orders.
  • Beverage and Bar provision.
  • Operating the POS (Point of Sale) terminal and use the operating software.
  • Stock control through the company software.
  • Ensuring that the cleanliness of the Bistro is maintained.
  • Compliance with food hygiene and health and safety regulations.
  • Compliance with procedures and maintaining procedural records.
  • Midweek cleans of properties when necessary.
  • Other tasks include pool chemical testing, checking in guests, dealing with telephone enquiries.
  • Undertake any reasonable additional tasks or duties as directed by The Manager or Senior Team.
  • Employ time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Upsell products or services where appropriate, enhancing customer experience.
  • Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring all materials are readily accessible.
