Job Description Baxterstorey is seeking an organised and efficient General Assistant to join our team in Hatfield. As a General Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our daily operations and ensuring excellent customer service. Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner Perform various administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the business Maintain a clean and tidy work environment Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly Assist with food and beverage service as required Restock & cleaning of vending machines Support team members in their daily tasks Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Operate basic office equipment and computer systems Assist with stock management and inventory tasks Contribute to the overall efficiency of the workplace Qualifications Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and supportive demeanour Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite Effective time management and multitasking abilities Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work well in a team and independently Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred but not essential Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities Positive attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality service Additional Information For almost 20 years, for every client, in every location (whether that’s an office, stadium, cathedral or university), we have created beautiful spaces, exciting menus and friendly teams, so that each and every customer can have the hospitality experience they deserve.
