We’re looking to expand our team by taking on a General Hotel Assistant to join the team at the award-winning Eastbury & Spa.
The Eastbury is a luxury 26 bedroom town house property with 5 star accommodation and a spa located in the town of Sherborne, Dorset.
The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality or a customer focused role, have a warm and friendly personality and be willing to work a range of shifts between the hours of 6.30am and 9:00pm.
This role is a permanent position. We are looking for a fast worker who can help in all departments of The Eastbury Hotel. Duties could include;
- Serving Breakfast & Afternoon Teas
- Housekeeping
- Bar service on occasions
Please note it is a fast paced role including manual labour at times carrying laundry bags etc. It is a physically demanding role where you might be serving breakfast in the morning then helping in housekeeping cleaning rooms.
Each week you will across 5 days doing mainly daytime shifts with the odd evening on busier days.
We are open to discussing how many hours you are looking for each week however we ask for full flexibility for days of the week worked and overtime when the business needs.

THIS IS A VERY CUSTOMER FOCUSED ROLE AND REQUIRES SOMEONE WHO IS CONFIDENT TALKING TO NEW PEOPLE AND HAPPY TO INTERACT WITH GUESTS, WE HAVE A WIDE RANGING CLIENTELE AND SOMEONE WHO CAN TALK TO PEOPLE FROM ALL WALKS OF LIFE IS A MUST.
