OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented General Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in providing support across various administrative tasks and ensuring smooth operations within the office and warehouse space. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude to handle diverse responsibilities effectively.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in an office environment with strong administrative skills.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance communication with diverse clientele.
  • Excellent computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace, as well as QuickBooks.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Experience in customer service or support roles is highly valued.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective time management skills while working independently or as part of a team.
  • Previous experience as an electrical estimator/on-site electrician would be a bonus, but is not expected.
  • The ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Familiar with a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide front desk support, greeting visitors and managing inquiries with professionalism.
  • Operate multi-line phone systems, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while handling customer calls.
  • Assist with data entry, filing, and maintaining organized records to ensure efficient office management.
  • Utilize QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping tasks and financial record keeping.
  • Offer customer support by addressing client needs and resolving issues promptly.
  • Perform clerical duties including typing, proofreading documents, and preparing reports.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications for daily tasks.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while managing administrative functions.
  • Assist with preparing customer’s orders.
  • Assist with picking/dropping orders.
