We are looking for an experienced general builder to join our team with immediate start. The job will be varied from working on domestic extensions to refurb works etc. You must have your own vehicle to travel between sites. You must be CIS registered. Experience is required. Ideal candidate will work on their own initiative. A knowledge of 1st & 2nd fix carpentry would be ideal. No time wasters please. You will be responsible for the day to day operations of the project. Working with our well established team and become a team member.
Responsibilities:
- Construct, fabricate, and assemble various structures and components
- Perform carpentry work such as framing, installing doors and windows, and building cabinets, 1st and 2nd fix knowledge would be ideal
- Paint surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray guns
- Perform masonry work such as laying bricks or stones/slabs etc to build walls/structures and patios
- Plumb fixtures and pipes for water supply and drainage systems
- Utilize power tools such as saws, drills, and sanders to complete tasks
- Use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, and wrenches for precise work
-some experience in kitchen fitting
Experience:
- Proven experience in construction or a related field
- Proficiency in various building techniques and methods
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and precautions in a construction environment
