Overview:
We are seeking a skilled General Builder to join our team. As a General Builder you will be doing & aspects of groundworks. Minor roof repairs, brick work, minor plaster works. This is a hands-on role that requires proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as knowledge of various construction techniques. Most of our works is in the Cotswold area but we do have a lot of maintenance work up & down the midlands in areas like Nottingham, Leamington spar, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Birmingham & Coventry.
Responsibilities:
- Read drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Measure, cut, and shape materials using hand tools and power tools
- Fabricate and assemble structural components such as walls, roofs, and floors
- Conduct masonry work such as laying bricks or stones
- Lay paving slabs & block paving to a high standard.
- General Groundworks.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Builder or similar role
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques and materials
- Ability to read & interpret technical drawings
- Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Preferably have own van.
